1930's Art Deco H/made Persian Asia Minor Sterling Silver Bracelet
Dating to the 1930s when all the things " arabesque " were the vogue, this hand made bracelet originates from Persia or another Asia Minor country. It is not marked and has been tested to confirm it is 925 sterling silver.
It comprises two graduated sections of traditional pattern with a row of finials to each side. these are connected by a mesh chainmail band that in turn is decorated with 3 domed shields. These freely slide along the chainmail.It fastens at the front by using a concealed pin to join the two halves.
The bracelet is in very good vintage condition with some minor usage wear and a lovely warm patina. The photos are part of the condition report and description.
Measures maximum width 4.7cm, minimum width 2.2cm, 5.8cm approx inner diameter, weighs 112g.
