Extremely nice antique 10k Gold Cameo Brooch. The gold on this brooch is nearly a rose color as it has nice rich deep color. The Cameo has been well taken care of and is in exquisite condition, no cracks, chips or stains. The brooch was purchased in an estate where we also purchased several cloth dolls dating from ca. 1890-1910.

The brooch is nearly 2" height at 1 13/16" X 1 7/16" wide (46.65 mm X 36.60 mm) which gives the brooch a very nice appealing oval shape. There are 4-leafs on the brooch (top, bottom & each side). The total weight of the brooch is 9.05grams and the brooch is marked 10k on the C clasp on the reverse.

The old band encircling the brooch is substantial in height. The band height at the top & bottom of the brooch is 1/4" high while the rest of the band around the brooch is approx. 3/16". Surrounding this band is another smaller band enclosing a gorgeous looping gold lace which is also in excellent condition with no breakages. There is fair amount of gold on this brooch as compared to others with the large band and smaller band enclosing the looping gold lace.

The small band encircling the filigree is also in excellent condition with no breaks but there are couple of very minor dents which is to be expected on jewelry with fine, delicate gold band trim.
