Created in1949, the Collier de Chien collection has become signature Hermes jewelry that showcases contemporary and sculptural volumes.
At the beginning of the 20th century, Hermes offered extraordinary dog collar collections to its refined clientele who were offered a version with trinkets, maybe one with its precious leathers or another with its streamlined studs. Designed to protect hunting dogs elegantly, these collars inspired the house to create a belt adorned with domed, four-sided studs and a ring. It's pure lines and volume later gave rise to the Collier de Chien bracelet.
